No electricity required. 380-volt manual filter press. Dark flow design for environmental protection and splash prevention. Ideal for laboratory small-scale filtration.
1. Manual hydraulic cylinder: It is driven by a manual hydraulic pump to complete the pressing and releasing actions of the filter plate. No external power supply or complex hydraulic station is required. It is highly suitable for use in situations without power sources or where explosion-proof requirements are high.
2. Box-type filter plate: The filter plate is of box-shaped structure, forming a sealed filter chamber. It is suitable for most materials that require efficient solid-liquid separation.
3. Secreted liquid: The filtrate flows out through the channels inside each filter plate. It gathers in the interior or lower part of the frame and is then discharged uniformly. The appearance is neat, preventing the filtrate from splashing, which is beneficial for environmental protection and collection.
1. Core Components:
Frame section: Composed of thrust plates, cylinder bases and main beams, it forms the basic structure of the entire equipment and bears all the filter plates and filtration pressure.
Pressing device: Manual hydraulic system. By manually operating the handle of the hydraulic pump, hydraulic oil is pumped into the cylinder, pushing the piston rod and thereby driving the pressing plate to compress all the filter plates, forming a sealed filter chamber.
Filtering section:
Filter plate: The material is usually reinforced polypropylene (PP), which has excellent corrosion resistance and strength. The center of the filter plate is concave, and together with the filter cloth on both sides, it forms the filter chamber that holds the filter cake.
Filter cloth: Depending on the characteristics of the filtered material (such as pH value, particle size, temperature, etc.), different materials of filter cloth are selected. It is a key consumable part in the filtration process.
Lifting Plate System: Manual lifting of plates. After the filtration process is completed, the operator needs to manually pull out each filter plate one by one for discharging. Although this method is less efficient than the automatic lifting system, it has an extremely simple structure and a very low failure rate.
Discharge method: Inlet flow type. On the thrust plate and compression plate, there is a total discharge channel. The filtrate from each filter plate collects through the concealed flow holes on the plates and then is discharged uniformly from the discharge port at one end of the machine or at the lower part.
2. Work Process:
Pressing the filter plates: Operate the manual hydraulic pump to extend the piston rod of the cylinder, thereby pressing all the filter plates together to form a sealed filter chamber.
Feed filtration: The feed pump pumps the suspended liquid to be filtered into the filter press, entering each filter chamber. The liquid (filtrate) passes through the filter cloth and is discharged through the blind flow channels; the solid particles are retained in the filter chamber and gradually form a filter cake.
Release the filter plate: After the filtration is completed, operate the relief valve of the manual hydraulic pump. The piston rod of the oil cylinder retracts and the pressing plate is released.
Manual discharging: The operator manually pulls out the filter plates one by one. Due to its own weight, the filter cake falls off the filter cloth and drops into the collection tank or transportation equipment below.
Preparation for cleaning: Inspect and clean the filter cloth, and prepare for the next cycle.
Economical and practical: Eliminates electrical and complex hydraulic components such as motors and automatic clamping devices, resulting in low manufacturing costs and maintenance costs.
Operational flexibility: It does not require power drive and can be used in any environment with a site, especially suitable for remote areas or explosion-proof workshops.
Simple structure, low failure rate: The mechanical structure is simple, operated manually, and there are almost no complex electrical or hydraulic failures. Maintenance is very convenient.
Advantages of secretions in darkness:
Environmental protection and safety: Effectively prevents the leakage of toxic, harmful, odorous or volatile filtrate, protecting the operating environment and personnel safety.
The site is tidy: All pipes are built-in, and the equipment is clean on the surface, facilitating on-site management.
Easy to collect: The filtrate is uniformly discharged from a single or two outlets, facilitating centralized collection and treatment.
Small footprint: The 380 model is a small-sized equipment in itself, with a compact structure and low requirements for installation space.
This filter press is widely used in the following industries for solid-liquid separation of small batches of materials:
