Vietnamese vegetable oil refining plant's white clay decolorization and filtration project Customer background
This client is located in Phu Yen Province, Vietnam. It is a vegetable oil refining plant with a daily processing capacity of 30 tons. The main products are soybean oil and palm oil. In the decolorization process, after the oil is mixed with activated carbon, it needs to undergo solid-liquid separation to remove the waste activated carbon and obtain clear decolorized oil.
Facing Challenges
The customer's original plate and frame filter press has been in use for many years, and the main problems include:
The customer requires a filter press that is resistant to high temperatures, has reliable sealing, is easy to maintain, and can enhance the efficiency of batch processing. Additionally, they hope that the equipment's voltage is compatible with the local power grid in Vietnam (three-phase 220V/50Hz, but the factory actually has an outdated 60Hz line with fluctuations).
Solution
We provided our customers with an XAY20/630-U type box-type filter press, and made targeted configurations according to the de-colorization process of vegetable oil:
Implementation Effect
Customer Evaluation
Production supervisor's feedback: "What we are most satisfied with about this box-type filter press is its sealing performance and dual-pump design. Previously, we always worried about the safety issue of hot oil leakage. Now, we don't have to worry about it at all. The finished oil pump is directly connected to the high-level tank, eliminating the need for a separate pump and one person's work."
Subsequent Cooperation
The customer has recommended the same model of equipment to their partner in Cambodia. At the same time, the customer purchased a set of spare filter cloth and filter plate sealing strips from us for daily maintenance and turnover purposes.
