Small Sealed Filter Press Supports Pilot Plant in Spain for Corrosive Chemical Filtration
2026-04-29
A pilot plant for chemical and metallurgical processes in Barcelona, Spain, mainly provides process validation services for the mining and metal recycling industries. The customers often handle sludge of metal hydroxides precipitated from acidic solutions, with each batch capacity ranging from 5 to 15 kilograms, and the filtration accuracy requirement is 5 to 10 micrometers.
Customer Requirements
High Acid Resistance
The equipment must withstand highly acidic conditions during the chemical processes.
Compact & Mobile
The equipment is small in size, making it easy to move and clean within the facility.
Simulation Ready
Capable of simulating industrial production conditions accurately.
Quick Adjustment
It is necessary to quickly replace the filter cloth and adjust the parameters.
Our Solution
We have provided a manual small sealed filter press (XAQ2-320/30), along with an additional set of spare filter cloths (10 pieces per set) and pump accessories (balls/ball seats/PTFE diaphragms). The frame is wrapped with 316L material, and the filter plates and seals are made of PP and fluororubber, ensuring long-term stable operation in an acidic environment.
Usage Effect
The equipment can be switched for use under different acidic and alkaline conditions, and the sealing system shows no signs of aging or cracking.
The undercurrent discharge design avoids the exposure of materials, making the laboratory environment safer.
The manual jack has a convenient structure for maintenance and the operator does not require special training.
The customer can flexibly adjust the volume of the filter chamber using the blind plate, making it suitable for different batch sizes.
Customer feedback:
"We chose this manual small sealed filter press because of its customization capabilities and acid resistance. From installation to start-up, it took less than a day and was very flexible. We will recommend it to our cooperating refineries in the future."
