Before the Spring Festival, our foreign trade team received an urgent inquiry from a Colombian customer. The customer required two bag filters and demanded urgent production and fast delivery due to tight production schedules. The core requirement was to deliver the equipment to the local area in the shortest time to ensure the normal operation of the customer’s production line. As core equipment for industrial solid-liquid separation, bag filters are widely used in chemical, petroleum, water treatment and other industries for their adjustable filtration accuracy, large processing capacity and convenient bag replacement. The customer purchased the equipment for medium filtration in their production process, which had extremely high requirements for equipment quality and delivery efficiency.

Based on the actual working conditions of the Colombian customer, the design team quickly completed the verification of equipment parameters and scheme optimization to ensure the equipment adapts to the customer’s production scenario. After production was completed, a new challenge emerged—the customer required the equipment to be delivered to Colombia as soon as possible for commissioning. To meet the customer’s timeliness demand, our logistics team immediately sorted out international transportation channels and initially provided a full air freight scheme, which could minimize transportation time and ensure fast delivery. However, considering the cost characteristics of cross-border transportation to Colombia, full air freight is relatively expensive, which would increase the customer’s procurement cost and conflict with their demand for cost performance.
