Background

An Indonesian family-owned plant oil refining workshop mainly processes coconut oil and palm oil. Previously, it used cloth bags for filtration, which was inefficient, the filter cloth was consumed rapidly, and the filtration accuracy was unstable. The customers hoped to find a pressurized filtration equipment with a durable structure, customizable features, and suitable for small-batch and multi-variety production.

According to the customer's material characteristics, a customized 4 m² cast iron plate frame filter press was provided:

Panel and frame material Cast iron, corrosion-resistant and pressure-resistant

Frame material Carbon steel. Color can be customized according to customer requirements.

Discharge method Counterflow, reducing the contact of materials with air

Feed system Gear oil pump + 304 stainless steel pipeline

Filter cloth Polyester 3927 type. Different precision filter cloths can be selected to adapt to different oil types.

Usage effect

The filtered coconut oil and palm oil are clear and transparent, meeting the customers' requirements for quality.

Manual plate pulling + hydraulic pressing design, facilitating quick switching and cleaning between different types of oils.

The equipment has a small footprint (only about 2 square meters), making it suitable for the limited space of a workshop.

The stainless steel pipes prevent the oil from coming into contact with carbon steel, thus avoiding the unpleasant odors.
