Case Study of Homogenization Tanks in a Chemical Enterprise in South Asia
In early 2026, a medium-sized industrial chemical manufacturer in South Asia planned to purchase a set of key mixing and homogenization equipment for the production of water-based coatings and industrial additives due to expansion needs. The old-fashioned mixing tanks previously used by this enterprise had problems such as uneven homogenization effect, low heating efficiency, and poor batch stability, which seriously affected the quality of product exports and customer repeat purchase rates.
After comparing with several suppliers, the customer finally chose our 1000L stainless steel homogenization tank. What the customer valued was not only the corrosion resistance and easy cleaning advantages brought by the fully mirror inner liner of SS304 material, but also the strong interest in the top 11KW high-speed homogenizer (2900 RPM with speed control) - this meant they could handle various materials ranging from low-viscosity additives to high-viscosity color pastes on the same equipment.

The equipment was shipped to Karachi Port in mid-July 2026 and was installed and debugged upon arrival. During actual production, the 72kW electric heating system could raise the temperature of the tank's contents from room temperature to the process requirement of 85 degrees Celsius in approximately 25 minutes, which was nearly 40% faster than the original equipment; and the adjustable-speed homogenizer successfully reduced the pigment fineness from the initial 50 microns to below 15 microns during the batch production of water-based epoxy coatings, significantly improving the coating gloss and adhesion.
What made the customer even more satisfied was the design of the fully enclosed tank body combined with the DN400 manhole cover, which not only ensured the cleanliness of the production process but also facilitated quick rinsing after each batch - the entire cleaning process only took 8 to 10 minutes, effectively shortening the switching time between different product lines. The jacket insulation layer also lowered the surface temperature of the tank, improving the working environment in the workshop.
After nearly a month of trial production, the customer's daily output increased by approximately 25%, the viscosity fluctuation range of the products was reduced from the original ±8% to ±2.5%, and the batch consistency was significantly improved. The production supervisor of the customer mentioned in the feedback email that the addition of this homogenizer enabled their water-based industrial paint production line to have the ability to handle more high-end export orders, and they planned to purchase a second similar equipment in the first quarter of 2027.
