Break the heavy metal sludge dewatering dilemma for XX electroplating technology, and realize efficient environmental protection and automatic operation
The Challenge
In a precision electroplating enterprise, the wastewater sludge containing heavy metals such as copper, nickel and chromium in the production has the characteristics of "fine, sticky and corrosive". The original equipment has low dehydration rate, fast corrosion and frequent manual operation, which affects the continuous production and environmental protection standards.
Requirements
Treatment capacity: filtrate ≥1m³/h, sludge ≥75kg/h
The moisture content after dehydration is ≤60%
Equipment resistant to strong acid and alkali corrosion
Automatic operation, less people on duty
The solution
Based on the analysis of the characteristics of electroplating sludge, XMY8/450-30 box filter press is selected:
The filtration area is 8㎡ and the volume is 120L, which can meet the processing requirements
Hydraulic pressure, working pressure 0.6MPa, targeted to overcome the high filtration resistance
Filter plate with enhanced PP, main beam anti-corrosion coating, corrosion resistance
Equipped with automatic pressure holding and PLC control, realize the automatic operation of "feed - pressure filtration - discharge"
Effectiveness
The sludge moisture content is stable at 58%-60%, the sludge volume is reduced by about 40%, and the disposal cost of hazardous waste is significantly reduced
Automatic operation saves more than 70% of labor, suitable for continuous production
The equipment has reliable corrosion resistance design, easy maintenance and stable long-term operation
Customer feedback
"(filter press) directly hit our industry pain points, efficient and stable operation, and truly achieve cost reduction and efficiency improvement and environmental protection standards." -- Head of Production Department
