Application Case: JYBF-DN50 Flange Connection Filter (Hungarian Customer)
This customer is a Hungarian chemical enterprise primarily engaged in the production and processing of fertilizers and chemical raw materials. Their production process requires precision filtration of an ammonium nitrate (NH₄NO₃) and urea mixed aqueous solution to remove fine impurities, crystalline particles, and pipeline debris. This ensures the stable operation of downstream production equipment, prevents clogging and equipment wear, and guarantees product purity meets production standards. The customer explicitly requested customized filtration equipment, requiring the unit to be compatible with their existing production pipeline, possess strong corrosion resistance and structural stability, with final delivery to their designated production facility in Hungary.
Based on the customer's operating conditions and application scenario, their core requirements can be summarized in the following four points:
Equipment Model and Connection Type: The JYBF-DN50 filter was specified, requiring a flange connection type that complies with relevant flange standards for precise integration and sealing.
Filtered Media: Urea aqueous solution mixed with ammonium nitrate (pH ≈ 5.0). The equipment must possess excellent acid resistance to withstand long-term corrosion.
Material and Structural Requirements: 304 stainless steel with a mesh screen structure (0.5mm to 1.1mm aperture) for robustness and effective impurity interception.
Delivery Requirements: Custom manufacturing with strict quality control and on-time delivery to Hungary for quick installation and commissioning.
To address the customer's specific requirements, we developed a dedicated solution based on the characteristics of the chemical production environment.
The ammonium nitrate-urea mixed aqueous solution is weakly acidic. At room temperature, the corrosion rate on 304 stainless steel is extremely low (<0.03mm/year). This material ensures long-term stable operation, resists deformation from media impact, and complies with chemical industry standards to prevent product contamination.
The housing uses an integrated forming process to minimize weld seams. The screen is designed for easy removal and cleaning, simplifying routine maintenance and reducing downtime while fitting the layout of the customer's workshop.
We used certified 304 stainless steel and conducted corrosion tests. Skilled technicians performed flange machining and housing welding, with quality inspections focusing on interface precision, mesh aperture, and sealing performance. Simulation tests replicated the actual operation environment.
The JYBF-DN50 filter was shipped via professional logistics to Hungary. Customer specialists verified all parameters including material, mesh aperture, and operational stability. Acceptance confirmed that the equipment fully met production needs with precise connection and effective interception.
The customer stated that the custom JYBF-DN50 filter perfectly met their needs. They highly appreciated the customization service, quality control, and timely delivery, expressing intent for future cooperation.
This project demonstrates our technical expertise in customized filtration equipment. By precisely matching the characteristics of the ammonium nitrate-urea aqueous solution with 304 stainless steel and optimized flange designs, we delivered a robust, acid-resistant solution. We continue to focus on customer requirements to deliver high-quality, adaptable filtration solutions worldwide.
