Efficient Diaphragm Membrane Filter Press for Sludge Dewatering
Features
1.The filter cake has an extremely high moisture content and a low moisture content
This is the most notable advantage of the diaphragm filter press. Through the high-pressure squeezing of the diaphragm (secondary dehydration), the water in the capillary pores of the filter cake can be squeezed out to the greatest extent. The moisture content of the filter cake produced is usually 10%-30% lower than that of the traditional chamber filter press.

2. Highly efficient and energy-saving, with a short cycle life
The high-pressure extrusion process is fast and powerful, which can significantly shorten the total time of each filtration cycle, thereby significantly increasing the equipment's production capacity (processing capacity). Compared with traditional filter presses that require a long time of air blowing and drying to achieve similar effects, it has lower unit energy consumption and is more energy-efficient.

3. Excellent washing effect
The filter cake after extrusion has a uniform and dense structure, and clear fissures and channels will form inside.

4. The operation is fully automated, reducing labor costs
The entire machine operation (including pressing, feeding, extrusion, blowing, unloading, cleaning and all other steps) can be automatically controlled by PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), achieving continuous 24-hour unattended operation.

5. Strong adaptability and wide application range
By adjusting parameters such as feed pressure, extrusion pressure and extrusion time, it can flexibly handle materials of different particle sizes, concentrations and properties, ranging from fine mineral concentrates to viscous industrial sludge, all of which can be effectively processed.

Application

Diaphragm filter presses, due to their outstanding performance, are widely used in industries that require efficient separation of solid-liquid mixtures
Mineral metallurgy: Dewatering of concentrates and tailings such as gold, silver, copper, zinc, lead and bauxite.
Chemical industry: Filtration and washing of products such as dyes, pigments, pesticides, resins, and fertilizers.
Wastewater treatment: Dewatering treatment of sludge from urban sewage treatment plants and industrial wastewater (such as printing and dyeing, papermaking, electroplating, and food wastewater) to produce sludge cakes that are convenient for transportation and disposal.
Food and Bioengineering: Filtration of starch, yeast, soy sauce, fruit juice, etc.
Ceramics and building materials: Dehydration of kaolin, ceramic glazes, etc.
