Automatic hydraulic automatic plate-retracting box-type filter press factory direct supply customized liquid filtration solutions

The automatic plate-type continuous pressure filter is an efficient, energy-saving and fully automatic solid-liquid separation equipment. It is based on the traditional box-type pressure filter and integrates advanced mechatronics technology to achieve the automation of the entire working cycle, including plate compression, feeding, pressing, blowing, and discharging. This equipment is widely used in industries such as chemical engineering, metallurgy, dyes, food, brewing, ceramics, environmental protection (wastewater treatment), etc., and is a key equipment for concentrating slurries, dehydrating materials, and treating environmental sludge.

  • Filtering area 30-1000㎡
  • Filter plate size 870*870,1000*1000,1250*1250,1500*1500,2000*2000mm
  • Filter chamber volume 450-20000L
  • Number of filter plates 23-141pcs
  • Filter cake thickness 30,35mm
  • Filter pressure 0.6-1.0Mpa
  • Motor power 4.0-15.0KW

The working process of the automatic plate-box type filter press mainly consists of the following steps:

1. Pressing the filter plates: The hydraulic system (or electro-hydraulic integrated system) drives the pressing plates, which compress the multiple layers of parallel filter plates between the thrust plate and the pressing plate, forming individual sealed filter chambers.

2. Feed filtration: The feed pump conveys the suspended liquid to be filtered into the pressure filter, entering each filter chamber. Under the pressure of the pump, the liquid (filtrate) in the suspension passes through the filter cloth (filtering medium) and is discharged from the liquid flow channels of the filter plates outside the machine; while the solid particles are retained in the filter chamber and gradually form a filter cake.

3. Pressurized Dewatering (Optional): Once the filter chamber is filled with filter cake, to further reduce the moisture content of the filter cake, the pressurization system can be activated. The pressurizing medium (usually high-pressure water or compressed air) enters the pressurization membrane and performs a secondary squeezing and dewatering process on the filter cake.

4. Blowing and Drying (Optional): After filtration and pressing, compressed air can be used to blow through the filter cake, removing the remaining moisture in the cake and achieving further drying.

5. Release the filter plate & Automatic plate pulling for discharging: The hydraulic system releases the pressing plate, and then the automatic plate-pulling device (mechanical hand) pulls the filter plates one by one in sequence. After the filter plates are released, the formed filter cake will fall off due to its own weight from the filter cloth and drop into the collection tank or conveyor below, completing the discharging process.

6. Cleaning of filter cloth (optional): Depending on the requirements, the equipment can be equipped with an automatic filter cloth cleaning device. After discharging, the filter cloth can be sprayed with water for cleaning to restore its filtering performance.

1. High degree of automation: The entire process from pressing to discharging has been fully automated, significantly reducing the labor intensity of workers and enhancing production efficiency.

2. High dehydration efficiency: Through processes such as high-pressure feeding, diaphragm pressing and air blowing, extremely low moisture content filter cakes can be obtained, meeting strict process requirements.

3. High processing capacity: The single machine has a large filtration area and a high capacity of the filter chamber, making it suitable for large-scale continuous production.

4. Stable and reliable operation: The structure is robust, using high-quality hydraulic components and electrical control systems, with a low failure rate and a long service life.

5. Simple operation and maintenance: The PLC human-machine interface is clear and intuitive, and parameter settings are convenient. The pull plate system is stable, and the replacement of the filter cloth is relatively simple.

6. Excellent sealing performance: The filter plate assembly is locked under high pressure, ensuring no leakage during the filtration process and maintaining a clean working environment.

1. Environmental protection industry: Sludge dewatering in urban sewage treatment plants and industrial wastewater treatment stations.

2. Chemical industry: Filtration of pigments, dyes, caustic soda, soda ash, salt sludge, white carbon black, catalysts, pesticides, etc.

3. Metallurgical industry: Dewatering of mine sludge during the smelting processes of metals such as zinc, copper, aluminum, and nickel.

4. Food industry: Filtration of sugar solutions, starch, yeast, fruit juices, and plant proteins.

5. Ceramics industry: Dewatering of glazes and porcelain clay.
